Offbeat Gourmet Presents...

Broiled Salmon Valentinè


1/4 cup Offbeat Gourmet Marmalade
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
3 cloves fresh chopped garlic


Salmon filet 3/4 lb to 1. lb (serves 4)

                                                  20 minutes start to finish.  We won't tell if you don't...


  • First pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees

  • Make your glaze!  In a bowl mix the pantry ingredients together

  • On a baking sheet put a layer of foil and lightly grease with olive or coconut oil.  Place the salmon (skin side down) and top with 1/2 of glaze & place in 450 degree oven. Set your timer for 5 minutes.

  • When your timer goes off set oven to BROIL HIGH; and set your timer again for five count'em 5 more minutes!

  • Cover salmon with the remaining 1/2 of the glaze and return to broiler for a final 3 to 5 minutes or until desired level of doneness.  Internal temp of 150-160 recommended

  • Using two spatulas carefully lift the filet and place on a bed of rice.  Garnish with sliced green onion & don't forget a squeeze of lemon!                                                           -"Makes it taste like candy!" Albert, Washington NJ
