BBQ Brisket

E-z, P-z, B.B.Q Brisket

 

Pantry

1 cup Offbeat Grill Sauce or Rated-X Sauce

2 Tbsp Offbeat Gourmet Chipotle Dry Rub
 

Protein
3 - 5 lb. Beef Brisket 

       5 Minutes Prep Time - 8 Hours total cook time

Directions

  • Rinse your brisket under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Trim and discard some of the extra fat.

  • Massage Chipotle Dry Rub over entire surface and place brisket in appropriate container or a large zip-lock bag.  Coat with Sauce and place in refrigerator overnight.

  • Place brisket & any remaining marinade in crock pot/slow cooker.  Set to LOW for Seven hours and 30 Minutes. 

  • To get a that nice bbq bark, set brisket on a wire rack on a baking sheet and bake in oven at 400' for 30 minutes.

  • Remove from oven.  Cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes.
