Directions

  • Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees

  • Take a piece of Whole Wheat Naan an spread a layer of Offbeat Gourmet Fig and Honey Conserve directly on the piece of naan (not too thick or too much)

  • Slice up a good portion of mozzarella cheese and place the cheese directly on top of the layer of fig and honey spread

  • Put the naan (with the fig and honey spread and mozzarella cheese) on a baking sheet and put the baking sheet in the oven for 5-10 minute or until the cheese has melted completely

  • While your flatbread is in the oven, take a skillet, set burner on medium to medium high and cook a couple of slices of bacon

  • Once the flatbread (in the oven) is ready (meaning the cheese is melted completely, take the cooked bacon (let it cool just a bit, so you do not burn yourself and crumble the cooked bacon right on top of the melted mozzarella/fig and honey flatbread

  • Let the flatbread cool just a bit before cutting and serving it.

This is the perfect sweet and salty combo!
