Directions

  • Take your crock pot out of the cabinet, plug it into the nearest outlet and place it on your kitchen counter top.

  • Put the pork shoulder directly in your crock pot, take the jar of Offbeat Gourmet Rated X and pour 1/4 to 1/2 of the jar directly onto the pork shoulder (amount will be defined by how spicy you like your pulled pork).

  • Take a bottle of Angry Orchard Apple Cider and pour the entire bottle over the pork shoulder in your crock pot (I like to use Angry Orchard Apple Cider because the apple flavor pairs well with the pork).

  • Put your lid on the crock pot and set the crock pot on LOW for 8-10 hours and let the crock pot to do its magic! :)

  • Once the crock pot timer has gone off, take the shredded pork out of the crock pot and put it on toasted crusty rolls (serving size for each roll- medium size amount of pulled pork, you do not want a heaping mess of pulled pork sliding out of your roll).

  • Optional-Open up the pulled pork sandwich and top it with a slice of provolone cheese (you want the pulled pork to be hot, so the cheese will melt) and nice amount of coleslaw. YUM!
